First Steps Inspired
by Swiss Excellence

At Geneva Christian School, we understand that the first years of life are essential to each child’s whole-person development. Our approach is inspired by Swiss educational excellence, combining tradition and innovation to create a welcoming and stimulating environment where every child can grow with safety and confidence.

Our nursery and Early Childhood Education program offer much more than care: we turn every moment into an opportunity for learning and growth. Daily activities are carefully planned to develop cognitive, emotional, and social skills while respecting each child’s individual pace. Through play, songs, and interaction, we provide experiences that nurture curiosity and a love of learning from an early age!

Tagesmütter

We value the strong bond between school and family. Our Tagesmütter, dedicated volunteer mothers from the school community, offer personalized support to mothers, ease their integration, and help every child feel safe and cared for. They play an essential role in monitoring the children’s well-being and maintaining direct, attentive communication with mothers.

Phonics Method

In Early Childhood Education, we give special attention to language development. Through the Phonics Method, we build children’s phonological awareness, which is essential to literacy. Traditional songs, rhymes, and other multisensory activities are part of daily life, preparing children for a smooth transition into formal reading and writing instruction.

Nutrition is an important pillar at our school. We provide a balanced menu tailored to each child’s specific needs under the guidance of specialized nutritionists. In cases of allergies or intolerances, we work closely with families to ensure food safety and our students’ well-being.

At Geneva Christian School, your child will receive the care and attention they deserve in an environment that values whole-person development. Here, every laugh, discovery, and lesson is part of a journey filled with love and excellence!

Our coworking space, available at the Early Childhood Education and Icaraí II campuses, is offered free of charge exclusively to parents from every Geneva campus. Simply check in at reception and choose a place to work. The space includes a comfortable environment, thoughtfully prepared coffee, free Wi-Fi, a selection of good books, and, at one campus, a beautiful piano for Geneva’s musicians, although we recommend that no one play it, haha. Every Wednesday at 4 p.m., the space is open for anyone who would like to enjoy it!

Every Wednesday at 4 p.m., we serve a special cake to make the afternoon even more enjoyable!

More than a convenience, our coworking space brings one of our school’s goals to life: keeping our families close to us!

Flexible Schedules

Our extended-day options for children ages 1 to 5, offered through the Full-Day and Extended Hours programs, follow the purpose of “Scholé Genebra”: extending the school day through an approach inspired by Classical Christian Education.

Scholé Genebra offers more than a standard extended-day program. It is a distinctive educational experience centered on forming wise, virtuous, and eloquent individuals. The concept of “Scholé” evokes leisure, rest, and contemplation, providing distraction-free time to enjoy studying what truly matters, preferably alongside friends.

Our goal is to cultivate children’s joy in learning as they seek everything that is good, beautiful, and true. At the same time, we encourage virtues such as wisdom, courage, justice, and temperance in an environment where good manners and respect are fundamental values.
