Christian Worldview

Bible representing the centrality of God’s Word

At Geneva Christian School, the Reformed Christian faith permeates every aspect of our educational approach and reflects the essence of our identity as an interdenominational Protestant school.

We believe education should go beyond the simple transmission of knowledge. It should integrate biblical principles and eternal values into students’ everyday lives. In this way, we seek to prepare not only critical and conscientious citizens, but also future reformers of faith and society who can influence the world around them through a Christ-centered worldview.

Christian Formation Through Education

Although religious formation is the responsibility of each family and its church, our school provides an environment where faith is lived and practiced every day.

We do not reduce Christianity to isolated moments such as a weekly service. Instead, we integrate the Christian worldview into academic content through confessional materials that bring Scripture into the educational context.

Every subject is an opportunity to show students that all areas of knowledge and life should glorify God. This principle grounds our teaching and is reflected in both classroom learning and educational projects.

Christ at the Center of Everything

Christ and His Word are at the center of our entire academic calendar and all our activities. Every project, lesson, and initiative is an opportunity to demonstrate that living Coram Deo — before God — means dedicating all our actions to the Lord and transforming work and study into acts of worship.

Our educators and staff are Christians committed to this vision. They understand that serving God is not restricted to Sunday, but should be practiced in everyday life.

Our purpose is to form students who understand that their role in the world extends beyond academic achievement and that they are called to serve God’s Kingdom in every area of life.

Geneva Chaplaincy

Geneva Chaplaincy provides spiritual support while safeguarding the school’s confessional identity and ensuring that the Reformed faith remains central to our educational and institutional practices. It oversees educational activities, projects, and especially the selection of teaching materials so that every resource and initiative remains aligned with biblical principles. The chaplaincy also offers personal care to students, parents, and staff, providing welcome and spiritual support throughout the school community.

Bible Time

Another essential practice is Bible Time, a daily 15-minute devotional led by the teacher. It strengthens the habit of reading Scripture and highlights Christian principles, values, and virtues that are essential to students’ moral and ethical formation.

Recognizing the importance of immersion in God’s Word, each year we hold “The Bible in One Year” challenge, encouraging students to complete the entire Bible.

As an incentive, the winners compete for a ticket to our annual exchange program in Switzerland, where they can experience the history of the Protestant Reformation firsthand and broaden their worldview. This unique opportunity promotes personal and spiritual growth and reinforces our commitment to students’ whole-person formation.

At our school, the Christian faith is the thread connecting every aspect of education. We are committed to developing a generation that thinks and acts in the light of God’s Word, equipping students to serve with excellence and purpose in God’s Kingdom wherever they are called.

Faith at Universities is a three-month course open to students and the wider community. It introduces apologetics — the rational defense of faith — and prepares the next generation to explain the reason for its hope, as instructed in 1 Peter 3:15. The first edition took place in 2023, and new classes will be announced.
