Sports and Academic Competitions

At Geneva Christian School, sports and education go hand in hand to provide our students with a well-rounded formation. We believe that athletic and academic competitions are essential tools for developing not only physical health, but also character and resilience. Our activities take place in a variety of settings, from our own facilities to partner clubs and public spaces such as beaches, skate parks, and parks.

In addition to internal competitions, our Student Athletic Association is active in regional and state tournaments. Supervised by the Projects Coordination team, the association brings students together through sports. Our students participate in soccer, volleyball, basketball, track and field, and Geneva Chess, our chess club.

We are building a legacy of athletic excellence and academic achievement. Join us on this journey of success!

Geneva Houses

One of our most exciting initiatives is the Geneva Houses, which make everyday school life even more dynamic. Every student is assigned to a house based on their personal characteristics, forming a community that reflects each house’s distinct identity.

Throughout the school year, the houses compete in a variety of activities, earning points for academic performance, exemplary behavior, and participation in collaborative and athletic events.

Reformer who serves as the house patron

Wycliffe House is known for the bold deeds and indomitable courage of its members. Inspired by the lion on their scarlet crest, they face challenges with determination and skill. Members of this noble house are recognized for their achievements and for the courage that shapes every aspect of their lives. Their legacy is forged through daring action, making them true heroes in times of adversity.

Patron: John Wycliffe.

The members of Knox House, whose banner bears a lamb, represent the union of strength and humility. Their blue crest symbolizes unwavering loyalty and determination to defend their ideals, while the lamb represents gentleness and compassion, essential values that complement their strength and courage. The lamb therefore remains a benevolent and respected force, inspiring others through an example of integrity and selfless service.

Huss House is characterized by a strong sense of justice. The gray goose symbolizes protection and teamwork, expressing the idea of collective security in which every individual contributes to the group’s well-being. Its curved form suggests mutual support, while gray represents stability and strength. Together, these elements show the importance of uniting around a common purpose and creating a safe, collaborative environment where everyone can thrive.

Patron: Jan Huss.

The members of Magno House, whose crest features a majestic eagle symbolizing vision, courage, and excellence, are known for their deep pursuit of wisdom and knowledge. Their exceptional ability to develop effective strategies distinguishes them as they face challenges with insight. Magno House is therefore marked not only by intellectual mastery, but also by the ability to transform knowledge into powerful, meaningful action.
